Liberal vs conservative
The following data, including graphs, is part of a scientific analysis to determine which political party is best for my country, the United States.
- Most academic scientists are Liberals. Definitely no offense intended to anyone, but it's a known fact that the average Liberal has a higher IQ. One of many examples is the most notable and perhaps intelligent scientist in the world, Stephen Hawking's, is a Liberal.
- That's intelligence. Now how about material wealth. Here's a short list of the richest people in the world, who just so happen to be Liberal -->
Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, George Soros, Rockefellers, Ted Turner, Bono, Steven Spielberg, Oprah, Larry Flynt, Annenbergs, and most hollywood types. The list goes on and on.
Oh yes, and Steven Jobs the genius is a liberal. :-D
- More liberals live in wealthier areas, coastal land, e.g., California, New York.
.
- The United States economy did the best while Bill Clinton was in office. Some may argue that conservatives were in power of congress during Clinton's term. It's debatable who has more influence over the economy, the President or Congress, but that's assuming the *entire* congress is against the President. The congress is not 100% conservatives, so usually the President has far more influence over the economy. The President picks the entire Cabinet, can veto, etc. Conservatives did not have that much power in congress during Clinton's term. For the first two years, Democrats had a huge 47% House majority, and 33% Senate majority. The following two years, conservatives had just 8% Senate majority, and 13% House majority-- weak in both Senate & House. The following four years conservatives 22% Senate majority, and an average of 7.5% House majority-- still weak in both.
- Some conservatives attempt to blame that present economy on Obama, but the scientific data shows otherwise. The data shows the Obama administration stopped the economies downward fall. The Dow Jones industrial average from one year prior to when Obama entered the Office to the present, it does not lie -->
Note the dip in the graph, the sink hole. That's when President Obama assumed office in January 2009. It took the Obama administration just two months to slow down the George W. Bush tragedy. And the industrial average has been a steady climb to the present day.
- And what about jobs? Take a look at the following three graphs. This graph is jobLESS claims. Higher numbers means more people are out of jobs -->
See that upper crest at 3/28/2009? That's just over 2 months after President Obama assumed office. It took the Obama administration a bit over 2 months to change the entire United States economy in a positive direction where jobless claims declined. If someone looked at the jobless claims in 2009 without looking at that graph, they would blame the Obama administration. Fortunately scientists know better, so they look at the trend because nothing changes instantly. It's called momentum. If a train is headed downhill out of control, it's going to take awhile to stop.
The following graph shows job postings. As you see, it shows the same trend. In this graph, higher is better.

- In 2011, 9 of the top 10 economic USA states such as California and New York are Liberal states. The following table shows the top 10 GDP (gross domestic product) states. Evidence after evidence shows the Liberal Democratic system is best for *long* term economic growth, and it's obviously best for the environment. For the moment, California is going through some difficult times. Despite that, California GDP right now, in 2011, is nearly twice that of Texas. Although bear in mind that California has had a Republican governor during these difficult times.
Blue states are Liberal. Red states are Conservative.

Here's some interesting data. The following chart shows the top 10 GSP (gross state product) USA states. Interestingly enough, 8 of the top 10 USA states that bring in the most gross state product are Democratic. This is based on the last presidential election-- see the map below. Hmm, I thought republicans were supposed to focus on the rich, LOL. Evidently the Democratic methodology is better for the poor and rich. Go figure! ;-)
