This morning the Radio Shack piezo element part number 273-073 once again lighted the efficient red LED. This time, the LED was pointed at a while Styrofoam box a few inches away, and not at my eyes. The light was bright enough to easily see the red light reflection off the Styrofoam in the dark room.
